ANALOG: a RIYSYS immersive event

Designed to engage you in themes of nostalgia, time and memory; our first pop-up exhibition for RIYSYS. In collaboration with artists excelling in film, photography, and animation, we curated an experience reminiscent of the early 2000’s, exhibiting moving visuals with compelling narratives.

there is a time that exists, submerged in memory
where we were active observers,
seeing the world vividly,
yet through faded film
captured through large boxes we held in our hands
where we clicked the shutter with our index finger,
rather than our thumbs
we were mechanical through the screens
but graphically emotive outside of them
hidden were pains and secrets of the world
so that we could dance in blissful ignorance
but how addictive that blissful ignorance
leaving nothing less
than nostalgia of memories so densely bathed in sunshine
memories now embedded within polaroids,

ANALOG revolves around the idea of ‘an analog past’, a time before the internet and constant connectivity. The rawness of emotion encapsulated within candid visuals, carries layers of meaning whilst remaining open to interpretation.

It was exhilarating building this brand pop-up and art installation over the course of 6 weeks. Aiming to be the first of many, where we create immersive spaces to experience art & fashion.
